Order Manager

This is the WorldWide Merchant Order Manager.
Whenever someone places an order on your website, the order and all relevant information will be displayed here. If no orders have been placed through your site, the Order Manager will simply display a message stating, “There are currently no orders.”

Before you begin learning the Order Manager, you might want to place a couple of test orders through your website if there are no orders listed.

  1. Sort Bar: The top section displays columns that can be resorted by clicking on the triangle next to the name of the column you want to resort clicking a second time will resort in in reverse order. on the right hand side are the links to submenus such as  filter, options, reports.
  2. Orders: The next section  of the Order Manager displays the individual orders. This section includes the order number (chronologically in sequence), the customer’s name, the customer’s company (if entered), the monetary total of the order (including shipping), the date and time the order was placed, the date and time the order was completed (when you changed the status to “shipped”), and the order’s status.
  3. Order Status: This section displays a link to print your order it also shows the currently selected orders number. Located on this bar you will also see order status this allows you and your employees to always know where in the order fulfillment process this order is. The order’s status can be changed in the Status drop-down. There are many different options for the order status.
  4. Order Information: This section displays the information that the customer provided during the checkout process. To view the details of an order, simply click on the order in the orders section (indicated by the number 2). This section includes the customer name, the shipping and billing addresses, the customer’s e-mail address, their payment information, and their phone and fax numbers, if provided.
  5. Order Details: This section gives an itemized list of the items ordered, including the quantity ordered, the quantity shipped, the item SKU, the item name, the price per item, and he extended price.
  6. Order Totals: This section lists the subtotal, tax, shipping & handling fees, and the order total. This sections lets you see these numbers in one quick glance.
  7. Comments: When customers checkout they have the option of adding comments or feedback. These comments are displayed in this field.
  8. In-House Notes: This section is for in-house use only. Here you can place notes about this order, for yourself or your fellow workers.
